I have always more or less ignored the hate there at COTI. I 'think' I am
sane and simply use the shiny bits that attract my attention and play on.
It is monumentally diffcult however to create a combat system for
spaceships using CT standards that work well for ships built under TNE
rules. and there is no easy way to convert CT skillsets to play ship combat
under TNE/Brilliant Lances. Much Handwavium is necessary to fluff it
through.
