It wasn't so much I decided the players would become mercenary accountants sailing on the wide accountan sea. Its a matter that as a player we're trying to unravel a number of mysteries and it was decided to try and figure out who the inside man was by following the money. which lead to the quandary, how do you follow money that might be weeks or months away? Which further led to this discussion.
The only reasonable solution is hard cash or everyone's their own bank, somehow.
