One too often knows ones own surroundings without understanding how
similar/dissimilar they are to others.
I know that when I was at GDW, employees of all the other companies (GDW,
White Wolf, West End, FASA etc.) would mock us, "Ha-ha, your fans are
insane," presenting the impression that nothing like that ever happened to
them,but there was also evidence that their fans were nuts as well. Hard
to know what to think. Except that I'll die someday. That's a safe bet.
