Interesting. I thinking more along the lines of Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, and the like.
I guess the first thing to decide is whether you want to go with a particular genre of music (e.g. Star Wars and the music of John Williams), or have a mix (e.g. Guardians of the Galaxy) and then look to specific pieces that fit.

But then again, that's 1248 for you. Or as I call it, "Traveller The New Era 1248-- the Heretics Heresy."
