Not really sure why grav pong wouldn't be supported. Clearly the ship has artificial gravity and while it may not be reversible it's definitely alterable and we also know that there are inertial compensators, I mean otherwise the wet mop budget alone on military starships pulling 4g and 5g burns is going to be insane.
Crank the floor gravity to 2g, then turn it off then turn it back on. Then off then compensate for a 5g burn. It's going to look like the inside of a strawberry smoothie blender in about 50 seconds. Not pretty.

All I am pointing out is prior to TNE the rules only vaguely touched on the
parameters of Inertial Compensation and Artificial gravity. And as such the
issue of Grav Pong generally came up within other heated arguments i.e.
Piracy. Whether it exists is largely up to your opinions within your game.
Eh? There always had to compensation for the acceleration of the ship.

Right, but aside from the primary purpose, allowing the interior of your
ship look like a comfy movie set while the ship is bobbing and weaving,
the rules didn't discuss all of the other implications to the level of
detail of "difficulty to hit moving target with called shot."
