In the CT AM4 - Zho book pg 10, 2nd column, lower right corner, it states
(in regards to the ancients' map projector that caused the core
expeditions.) that the closest approach at the time to the core reached
5,000 parsecs (16,300 ly) from the boarders of Zho space. And that
individual vessels had explored an additional 1,000 parsecs beyond
the boundaries of the corridor from the map projector.
