That makes sense. I also remember deliberately staying away from too much
speculation about people in the Traveller universe have implanted
cyberware because there was so much cyberpunk going on at the time.
Traveller didn't need to become just one more cyberpunk game.
And now the Internet has sidelined cyberpunk as another unanticipated way
that the way technology plays out doesn't fit our assumptions. Now
everyone is hackers instead of jackers.
