Hi Dave,
When I saw your application to the ml, I was wondering if you were just
going to lurk in anonymity or engage. Considering how quiet this list
has been over the last few years, I wasn't sure how you'd react.
Then I check in this morning and find over a hundred messages posted. My
first thought was, "Oh no, flame war. Did Tim (our moderator) get
overwhelmed?" Then I saw that it was the exact opposite. Phew!
Glad to see your arrival on this list is a good one, Dave.

I was feeling kind of retrospective lately, and Googled "I love
Traveller the New Era," mostly just to see if anyone ever said that,
which led me to "Tales of an Old School Gamer," which led me to BARD,
which led me here.
So I thought I'd say, "Hi," and also, I'm glad that what we did so long
ago still pleases some people. Sorry we weren't able to stay around to
finish what we started.
