Yeah, I think that the TNE/House combat rules were better than they were
given credit for. People would often focus on how a hit wouldn't kill a
person instantly dead, but they were not paying attention to the
knock-down, stun (I can't remember the words) effects that went along with
it which made the whole big picture. And like I said, I was in that
conversation a million times.
I'm sorry that I didn't know a lot of the HIWG guys like Clay better than
I did. There are just only so many hours in a day, and you can't pay
attention to all of the things wanting your attention. And unfortunately,
the guys that push the hardest and loudest, like HIWG sometimes, are the
guys that you feel you have to fend off the hardest. I'm not proud of that,
but there is a LOT to do in a 16-hour day when you are a designer/line
manager/chief of design. That's not an excuse, it's just what happens.
I'm very glad to hear from you again, Roger. I think you knew this, that
I'm a Norwegian as well, but with a Danish/Swedish last name overwritten on
my original family name of Anderson.
