Ok. The TNE Collapse Procedure is Human-centric.
For gov't codes that lie outside of the A-F range, it doesn't really work.
You've gone from using Aslan gov't codes to TNE Wilds codes. IMO, true Aslan
aren't going to abandon the clan loyalty system (barbarians could) that they've
had forever just because of Virus (I came up with an
alternate system for re-rolling Aslan gov't codes in the
Wilds). I suppose one can argue that maybe
Virus is the very thing that causes Aslan to abandon the clan loyalty
system for human style gov'ts (though from 1248 it survives for at least some of
the population). After all, what are the motivations, besides land,
that would cause an Aslan to become a barbarian?
Notice that there's no democracies or
religion-based gov'ts. So if you use the standard TNE Collapse procedure, you're
going to have to re-roll any time you get one of these two. Is it possible for
Aslan to "get religion" or "go along with the herd" when their choice for
leader doesn't get elected? Or are there things so embedded in Aslan culture
that nothing in the universe will change them?

Subject: Re: [Traveller_TNE] RE: Banners - LongishWhen you collapsed the sector, did you assume that all of the Aslan worlds were "barbarians"?\_/DEDTNE @ Yahoo ml AdminNo indeed. I treated the few Hierate colony worlds and the Woal Warliyir as "civilised" but the Aoiftu Roakh I treated as a culture considered "barbarian" by the Hierate culture. (Wealth ended up being the measure of success not land and the two sexes had become more equal and did jobs that the Hierate would consider inappropriate) ie males doing female jobs and vice versa.Antony
