There seems to be... holes... in the internet. I have a phone app that wants to do an email verification. Takes 30-60mins to get an email from the app’s server by which time the code is invalid. But the app works just fine transmitting texts instantly all over the world.

LOL. Yeah, I received them both later on.
I posted them both via the group website and neither one of them appeared there after I posted them. I figured that I'd give them 24 hours to show up before trying again.
So individual emails work for me now.

In the past, daily volumes were so high that getting pinged by individual emails was annoying (assuming I was working). It was easier for me to review the day's discussion all at once in digest format at a time that was convenient for me. And since I'd "knighted" Tim with moderator powers, there wasn't a need for me to screen the conversations for bad behavior.
But just as there really hasn't been any bad behavior for 10 years, (you're absolutely right) the volume of email has been drastically reduced. Sure, we get the occasional spike in traffic, but it seems to happen quarterly rather than weekly or daily.
I'll switch over to individual emails and see if that works.
