I'm a backer of the Traveller board game Ken Burnside is producing. I have
his other 3 D Space combat games which this is a variant on and all have
been quite good but complicated, the last I heard was that the rules were
undergoing play testing with issues like trying to manage the effectiveness
of mass missile salvo's and the scaling between a Gazelle and a Tigress. I
seem to remember that it was using the classic traveller reactionless
drives rather than TNE Plasma drives although several of the other games
use reaction drives.
