You two could have had such fun with them, giving out fake code words and clues to leave a mess for the LARP-GMs to deal with.

I remember being at
DragonCon with Loren one year, after the exhibit hall had
closed for the day, sitting in the hotel bar inside the
gigantic multi-story atrium trying to have a quiet drink
with Loren, and we couldn't even finish a sentence to
each other because all of the LARP players kept coming up to
us and trying to get us to give them the secret code word,
or next clue, or whatever. I can remember one or both of us
being annoyed, and the other one trying to calm him down. I
recall one of saying words to the effect of, "dammit,
we're pros, we can't do this 24 hours a day, we need
a break." And I also recall being torn between the
sensation of thinking the idea of the LARP game was cool and
liking the idea of being involved in it, and the sense of
being exhausted and wanting to have nothing to do with
gaming for a few minutes.
