Would make little sense to name based on population, which is only
obliquely related to economics, which would be the real determination. Just
as possible nations would subcontact components so the Indians make the
hull, Chinese maneuver drives, Americans the jump drives, Japanese
computers, German weapons, etc
Unified government ala UWP makes the last sense to some sort of limited
(Con)federation of otherwise internally and even diplomatically autonomous.
Probably more of a mutual defensive alliance....
