I liked the CoE stuff. Given the collapse it was highly likely a religious based govt would appear somewhere and even retain some of the imperial era knowledge - it worked for the church and the arabs post collapse of the roman empire

Enjoy! When they get to the main world of Arkiirkii, be aware that all the main planetary defenses, in particular the meson guns intended to engage capital ships, are still operational...the RCES will need to run a covert mission to the surface to find the mountain that serves as the operations center for the guns. Until the guns are disabled or the locals convinced the RC are "the good guys", anything/anyone coming into orbit and unfortunate enough not to find the blind spot in the sensor grid might end up like a mouse tossed into a microwave....
