The T5SS hasn't touched Aldebaran yet; our first job was cleaning and correcting the Atlas sectors. After the Atlas sectors, we've touched the close Aslan sectors, and right now are working on the old land grant sectors. Travellermap39;s data should show the differences.
As to the validity of the DGP dotmap, remember DGP materials are not forbidden canon for either Marc or myself (we both have specific permissions from Rodge). However, when handled appropriately, any OTU licensee can use the DGP materials, but Marc or I still recommend guidance.
As of right now, my direction from Marc is that 1248 is in the canon path, and Traveller Chronicle is apocrypha. And as of right now, I'm not aware of any official data for Aldebaran.
