on your comment about cargo shifting. I had fun creating a "seagoing"
version of the petty. Yes it was a starship, and yes, it was constructed to
look like a sea vessel. Including a Boom style crane that folded down to
the deck for flight. I just considered it to be 2 tons displacement and 4
tons mass. likewise an MHD turbine for thrust in the ocean for that
'authentic sonar sound'. 2 tns displacement and mass. handwavium for cost
as it was truthfully window dressing for a first contact ship on an ocean
world. In fact, when I was don it downright resembled an LST from WW2, in
case anyone here has ever read 'the ninety and 9'.
