"Full Guatney" - Named for Leroy Guatney, a former HIWG member, who became a complete liability to organization because of his trolling and general attitude. Long story short, I don't think there was a single thing I did he ever actually liked, and eventually the feeling became mutual (which was a bit sad, because I liked his work on "Atlas of the Imperium"). He wasn't happy merely trolling however. He eventually engaged in personal attacks against me, and all but sabotaged the organization when he didn't get his way. There's more to the story, but the lesson I learned out of the whole sorry incident is that feeding a troll drains you, just don't.
Going "full Guatney" is to take a stand over something because of "principle" (even if you are in the wrong) and get locked into a moronic flame war as a result.
