When was that.... Shit that is disingenuous, It's Traveller online fandom,
it was always like that then the bitching subsided and some of the most
amusing tech designs got rolled out. In a lot of ways this list here
recently has been sounding like what you have been complaining about there.

And yet the TML abides...... Come on back lets see what y'all can do...

TNE has a strong flavor, and you have to like the game that it pitched.
Then there was the bit about the game changing incomprehensibly with the
edition change (A lot like the changeover from CT to MT, wanna here me
bitch get me started on the abortion that was MT game mechanic wise).
Though to be honest maybe people haven't been reading what was going on in
those last few issues of challenge and the final folio adventures and book
of MT.

Shit where was I, Oh, yes the favorite pastime of the Online fanbase is to
Bitch about edition x.

Yes it did.

And don't get me wrong I always loved me some TNE, it laid the groundwork
in official Game Mechanics and the related to run the weird sorts of games
I enjoy with minimal pain in the form of writing my own rules... (Funny
thing is that MgT has a butt load of that too)
