Whatever happened with SFB was an entirely different set of circumstances than what's going on with Traveller. Mongoose seem to have a good working relationship with Marc and FFE and they do all the writing themselves. I don't know the details of what was going on with SFB while Amarillo were working with Mongoose but it was a very different kind of relationship - Amarillo was heavily involved in it and it looked like they were having a few issues in the writing of it.
