Agree, far to much of that but I guess what I was getting at is just because a planet doesn’t have life on it doesn’t mean it’s un-inhabitable… you just have to be there at the right time as far as some of them are concerned.

Just because I was curious, I looked this up. The oldest elements of Mars
surface supposedly formed 4.5 to 3.5 billion years ago. About 4 billion
years ago its tectonic plates stopped moving and it lost its
magnetosphere. By 3.5 billion y.a. it had extensive liquid water, and some
water lasted to "a few million" y.a.

So even Grandfather was too late for liquid water on Mars, to indicate
what an eye-blink that was. (Homo heidelbergensis, H. rhodesiensis, H.
neanderthalensis)
