Thread: Fermi's Paradox resurrected, and put down

4 posts.

You know, here's the thing about Fermi's Paradox.

We have proof of interstellar intelligence all the time, we just never
believe the witnesses. So apparently there is some kind of interstellar
agreement that you only contract really, really non-credible people.

Kind of like those signs in National Parks: "Leave nothing but footprints,
take nothing but pictures." For UFOs, the rule is leave evidence only with
people who watch Jerry Springer. So Fermi's Paradox is merely a fatuous
illusion engaged in by the elite.

I like the explanation the Douglas Adams went with, the visitors where bored
rich kids pulling prank..

And the mice and dolphins were smarter than us all along. With the people
I work with, that's not a stretch for me to believe at all.

I prefer the Calvin and Hobbes explanation; The best evidence that there is intelligent beings out there, is that they have NOT contacted us.
No one in their right mind would stay away from earth and humans.

Well, of course, then you got those drunk rich kids that go out of their way to break any rule they can come up on.
