Thread: Lego

The Star Wars naysayer is here to report that there is a Lego set out,
9490, the escape pod from the first movie, that includes two Sandtrooper
minifigs, saying they are "new." While I'm sure that Lego has issued
sandtrooper minifigs before, I don't have any, so I picked them up. R2D2
and C3PO as well. Can't say no to Lego.

That one's been about for a few months, I was just the best man at a lego themed wedding. I'd love the Corellian one but I can ill afford the almost 200$ it is up here ib Canada.

Which one is "the Corellian one?" I don't visit their website anymore,
because when I do, I spend money. :-(

Now I just pick up what they have in WalMart when I walk by, and
thankfully WM has been cutting down their Lego selection lately. Bad for
their taste and intelligence, good for my wallet.

They've had a few editions of the Millennium Falcon out, and I have always
drawn the line there.

BTW, am I the only one who thinks it's really hypocritical of Lego to have
a policy to not put out military-themed sets, but make all kinds of genre
war sets, like cowboys, castles, and Star Wars?

Well, I'm here to solve your problems, then. Lego is not useless! Buy as
much of it as you possibly can! You can make furniture with it!

Seriously, I met a guy who made a living building Lego furniture for people.
