OK, I have almost finished reading POT for the first time and I now understand why everyone on this list has been raving about it. It is now firmly one of my favorite Traveller books, and TNE is definitely my favorite Traveller setting over Classic and MegaTraveller (I haven't looked at T4, T5, GURPS or any of the other variations yet).
I have heard of GM's mashing up their rules from different games, does anyone else here do that? If so what rules do you pick for different aspects of your games?
As I once wrote on (this?) another board the reason I re-discovered Traveller was the Firefly series, and TNE firmly places me back there!
Thanks everyone,
Brett.
