Tried emailing the on ship minis. They admit to previously making both Traveller and ICE silent death ships. But they say they can't make the Traveller ones anymore but might be able to do some of the silent death ships

Does anyone know if any of them look traveller like?

Speaking of which, I emailed them at sales@rafm about more Clippers/modules but never got a response back yet. Might try again here soon some of the more unique email addresses.

They are mostly very Fighterly looking.....

Though a couple of the TNE sculpts did migrate into Silent Death after the
demise of GDW....

I'm kind of sad that the old RAFM "back door" to get TNE minis is no
longer open.

Just about all of the RAFM ships that were new to TNE. The Clipper and it various parts is the only exception I can think of offhand. The Barekdoldin, Trekhyair, Cuspid, Fang, and RQS Modular Inspection Launch all became Silent Death fighters.

Barekdoldin -> Javelin
Trekhyair -> Hornet
Cuspid -> Firebat
Fang -> Rattler
RQS Modular Inspection Launch -> Praying Mantis

Note that the master and mold for the Barekdoldin/Javelin apparently were tweaked during pre-production, resulting in the model having a permanent twist along its length. If you squint you an ignore it, but it was sad to see such a cool model get mass-produced after such an error occurred.

property rights. The TNE ships you name below are ones that RAFM designed
and brought to us to rate as TNE ships, whereas the classic Traveller
designs plus the Clipper were IP created in Traveller. Ships designs that
they created they have more leeway to release as they see fit compared to
minis that are representations of someone else's design.

Jack Van Schaik gave me the masters to use when I rated them, and that
twist may have already been there. I remember being surprised both by
weirdnesses in the original masters and by weirdnesses in the later
production figures, but don't remember for sure which was which.

Not that I can tell offhand. Which visual reference in Traveller would I be looking at?

Basically the standard RC rifle, should be in RCEG, and also in the hands
of the RC figures that got put out.

I was surprised with some of the "minis" they gave me to rate as TNE
starships. Some of them just looked like little pieces of left-over junk,
and one of them was the TL-10 ACR, which they had presumably cast
separately to place in the hands of various figures. I declined to pretend
these were starships.

Honestly, if you put the gun on a stand upside down, it didn't look unlike
some of the Aliens or B5 Earth ships, but if you knew it was an ACR-10 the
illusion was kind of wrecked.
