To be honest when I went back to school after the Dot.Com Bust I purposely
set out on a heavy Math and Science curiculum because of Traveller. It also
shaped my choice of Major and emphasis. I now hold a Bachelors of Science
in Geography. Which is basically a generallists degree covering both hard
and soft sciences, plus art in the form of cartography and a bunch of Arial
and Satellite sensing and interpretation (if I had know the later two was
so fun I would have had a completely different Rate when I was in the
Navy), plus the requisite classes in generating G.I.S maps and databases. I
figured by the end I was the equivalent of a Survey Scout.
