You don't cover what happens if a caste can't promote or commission. In TNE
there are other careers that don't have promotions or commissions but have
the roll, I believe is still made towards some kind of benefit. Or my
memory is tricking me.
You didn't call out 'what' PSI skills were available (standard or
otherwise)?
I am not sure what justification you used to increase their stat generation?
Nor do you expound on the life span (this is important note for a droyne
character). The reason its important is that functionally a droyne 'if
classic" cannon holds they can take unlimited number of terms. Which from a
game balance point of view is simply broken. So I think you need to put
some thought into this.

If the world was fair then every bad thing that has ever happened to you
would have been deserved.
1) Psi Skills are standard out of main TNE book. Also, in the Regency Sourcebook under Zhondani Careers (pg 25), "Referees should modify Term Resolution to allow improvement of psionic skills during term resolution". Which I did.
2) Promotions are covered per standard careers, all careers have promotions. If no table is provided most careers only go up to 6 levels. Such as Belter, I assumed that the max level for promotion is Belter-6. Scouts can go up to E-6 or O-7. Military ranks of course go to E-9 or O-10.
3) Sports need a Agl 6+ for Belter, Scouts need a INT or STR 7+, Diplomat needs a CHR or INT 7+. In order to get a stat to those I allowed the Droyne caste structure to allow bonuses to stats based on careers. Since the stats of Droyne are only 1d6+1 (avg 4), getting a stat to the required takes an extreme possibility, with the ability to have a +2 to a stat it allows Droyne to get into careers based off of Castes. Droyne stats are also going to be below average for (Str,Agl,Con,Int) and Droyne roll 2d6-1 (Edu and Psi). They have no Social just Caste number.
The Droyne conversion I found on the internet (http://www.downport.com/bard/bard/cari/cari1000.html) is very broken. It doesn't follow any example of Races like in the Regency Sourcebook. The author didn't make any justification as to why the stats were the way he made them.
4) The normal lifespan of a Droyne (Workers,Warriors, Drones, Chirpers and Technicians) is roughly 30-40 years about the same as other races, with the exception that if they feel their lives are longer necessary they will themselves to die. Sports and Leaders can exceed that because of their independence as per Twilights Peak (Adv 3) & CT Alien Module 5 Droyne +3 to aging rolls. Since it does not state that Droyne make use of Anagathics, Sports and Leaders can be extremely old aged. Probably 100-120 yrs unless they feel that they are no longer useful and will themselves to die. Which is close to how old a player using Anagathics can be.
Per promotions above, you could state that the max number of terms you can go is whatever promotion level you can get to: Sport-Belter(6),Diplomat(6),Scout(7), maybe some schooling (Undergrad(1),Grad(2),Flight Acd(1)) which means that a Sport could have a max of 23-25 terms at most. Just remember even though Sports and Leaders get a +3 to aging, they still have to make aging rolls. Anagathics automatically suceeds at 2 attribute rolls for 60 years(15 aging periods), Droyne aging for those two Castes don't succeed at all they just get a bonus to a roll. They can still fail the rolls even with the bonus.
Now would I take a character to 25 terms, no way 15-18 maybe if I came up with a very good storyline. But another race with the possibility for going 15 terms just with Anagathics alone and taking 5-6 terms as normal, just add it up that could easily be 20-21 terms. How is what I converted any different from what another person would do?
But since Humanity can make use of Anagathics and use it for 60 years (15 aging periods) of continous use they too can be extremely long aged. Anagathics allow no continuance rolls, as long as no monetary (base money SOC x Base, or whatever the career states for Monetary) is gained for that term they can go 15 terms easy. That means that players can have 6-10 different careers, I'm not sure why it isn't a possibility to allow 2 castes of Droyne (Leaders and Sports) the possibility to have 3 careers max and have a problem with it for game balance.
Well, it seems like you've done a lot of good work. If it doesn't work out you might have to back to the Droyne Board! (You have no idea how long that pun has been in my head :)
