Avenger Enterprises is recruiting. A bit. Sort of.
As many of you know, Avenger is a very small outfit with most of everything
done by Michael, Shane, Jason and some oddments by me. We've put out a lot
of stuff in the past few months, and there is more to come, but it's time to
consider what next.
We want to give Traveller fans what they want, and right now that means
supporting the 1248, 1201, 993 and 1110-era settings. That's spreading
ourselves very thin, and equates to fairly long periods between products in
any given milieu. We'd like to shorten those gaps if possible, and that
means taking submissions from outside the Avenger crew. There are already
several such products underway; The Spinward States and Freedom League
books, Operation Dominoes, the Terran Praesidium material etc.
However, there's room for more. More than anything else we're looking for
people to continue the work we've done in the 1110 Marches (Bowman Arm) and
1201 Reformation Coalition (Road to Sufren) series. What we'd really like to
see is proposals for low-level (ie Far Trader rather than Imperial Task
Force) adventures to tie in with that series.
We're looking for 20,000-word adventures which should fit into one of the
following categories:
1. 993-era Gateway Sector, adventures in the 'Through The Gate' series begun
in the Megusard Corporate book
2. 1110-era Marches, adventures in the Bowman Arm/Steel Project series.
3. 1201-era Old Expanses, adventures in the Road to Sufren Series
4. 1248-era Fourth Imperium, adventures set in and around the County of Ukse
5. Generic, self-contained adventures in the vein of One Crowded Hour.
Also System Guides for 1110 Marches and 1248 New Era/4th Imperium setting.
We've done one or more in each series, which should show what we're looking
for. What we DON'T want is huge-scale adventures, epics spanning half the
Imperium, the Ancients or anything that changes the setting in significant
ways.
