I've uploaded a map of the four sectors around the RC, using data from BARD the Zhodani Base. It took me a long time. I hope it's useful to someone else, too.
I could easily do that, but the borders aren't really defined. The
Khulam/Promise Main is just one portion of the vaguely-defined highway
which certainly extends at least into the Solomani Rim and Massilia sector
(and probably all the way to the Black Curtain). Unless you have some more
exact information?

That's all very true, Eamon, and yet Shenk subsector is clearly part of the
AO (PoT, pp. 44-49), containing the only Class 1 target world in the AO. So
how do you draw the AO to include the map on p. 49 of PoT without running
the line through Oriflamme subsector. I'd suggest that a literal
interpretation leaves us either with an irreducible conflict or a very
silly-looking map. I believe the solution is to interpret the first quote
you gave as a whole. Those worlds trailing and rimward of Coalition space
are not part of the AO. But those coreward and spinward are. So I've drawn
the line from the RC border by the shortest route to meet up with the canon
map on PoT p. 49. I admit that there are other possible interpretations,
but they have to be more complex than the one I've given.
