I forgot the mass combat system was in there, and actually don't remember
it even now. I do remember that "mass combat systems" were something that
was always looping around needing to be bolted onto this, that, or the
other game, and also that in most cases it didn't scale down well to
player level, i.e., if PCs were part of the "mass," what happened to them,
how were their unique skills represented at the mass level, etc. "Perfect
world" is always a sampling error.
"Pocket Empires" being from a post-TNE Traveller incarnation, right?
