Although that does have aspects of vehicle design & performance, it was
abstract enough for Larry & Tom to game out _Red Storm Rising_.
(FWIW, I thought the difference between _Striker_ and _Striker II_ was that
the latter is more like a traditional wargame, while in the former the
player only plays the commander - which, reportedly, fazed older wargaming
grognards. Unlike role-players, they were not used to the other characters
(i.e. "their" troops) operating as NPCs, with all that that entails...
