With a little more time to think about misdirecting the PCs with things
they don't expect, as Uxi pointed out it is the pure Newtonian nature of
micro-G that usually gives people trouble (it nearly killed Gene Cernan).
If the player is used to using his TK dirtside, he's probably not that
familiar with any Newtonian/Non-Newtonian considerations with TK, because
when your feet are firmly planted in a G-field it's hard to learn some
Newtonian lessons to begin with. So it might not surprise him in free-fall
when it remains non-Newtonian, because he wasn't "smart" enough to expect
it to be Newtonian anyway.
If you rig it right you could get a pair of Players where you surprise the
first (non-Psi) one with Newtonian free-fall problems, and he and/or the
Psi learn the lesson, expecting to apply that to the Psi problem, then
when it's non-Newtonian they get in even deeper.
