The TNE setting was great, the Books that they did put out, including the Avenger
1248 stuff was the best ever. The only problem I had was it was too mathy, having
to design almost everything yourself made it hard to do things on the fly. I
think if it would have lasted longer it would have been the best RPG ever. LBB
is still my favorite.

Brett,
Right with you there. I've been doing RPGs for longer than I care to count up
right now, and Path of Tears still has my vote for the best setting book I've
read, for any system, period. Chock-full of setting information, tons of flavor
about what it's like to be one of the Arses, and adventure hooks galore in the
world descriptions. Made me a confirmed, proud Star Viking to this day.
