American Eskimos. They look exactly like Samoyeds but are only 25-30
pounds. If they were Samys, the map would be about twice as big. I've
never owned a Samoyed, but I like all of the "eskimo"-looking dogs.
Actually I pretty much like all dogs period. American Eskimos are a lot of
fun, very smart, strong-willed. Maybe even obedient if you convince them
to be strong-willed about that. I've also had a wirehair fox terrier. He
was a ball as well. Quirky, whimsical, irrepressible. His name was
Dreadnought, but he was not named after the ship. He was named after the
Armor Battalion that was named after the ship. He used to like to chew on
silverware.
