Under ideal conditions on the expressway 5 hours might be do-able - though personally I doubt it.

Japan's premier acrobatic team is the Blue Impulse - and like the Red Arrows in the UK they are a fixture of the Air Show season.

For me JGSDF were a bit of a joke military wise up until March 11th 2011 - they are forbidden even to use force in defense of allies, but they did sterling work in the disaster. I'm sure they could cope with Godzilla now.

That's funny. I used Google maps to do the route from Yamagata to Atsugi
and it said 5 hours or so, obviously not accounting for the low speed
limits. So much for the Almighty Google.

The Japanese have got a couple of aerobatic teams, maybe one might come
someplace in Kanagawa.

It's funny, as soon as you said JGSDF all I could think of was Godzilla's
foot stomping on model tanks.
