I'm glad you had a good experience with me. I'd like to think everyone
did, but I'm also a realist. :-)

Of course, I will absolutely permit you to say that (not like you need my
permission; if it's true it's true, but thank you for asking). I don't
think this is a secret from anyone, that it was intensely painful for me
to watch it fall, and to in effect be the last Jenga block. To belabor the
point as I am wont to do, it has been a lengthy process for me to get
over/around/through/past it, partially because for the first few years I
moved into a different world where I didn't get to deal with it. But I
think that shared grief (that sounds like too strong a word? Who cares,
it's technically correct) is one of the graces we can receive, even after
so long a time. So I appreciate your saying that, it is meaningful to me.
Like you, I am also grateful to get a chance to play our coda* together
here (you personally as well as with the larger group). It means
something.
And lest that sound like something completely over-and-done with, as this
group shows, TNE is not "over." There's still some life in the old girl.
