We had two thoughts about Ashtabula.
First was, "we're going to leave this one alone, and allow it to be
something that GMs can write their own story for, so we'll never undermine
them."
Second was, "Yeah, but eventually, somehow someone will inevitably publish
the 'true story of Ashtabula,' probably after every GM out there finally
ran their own version, so that they'll all get screwed."
Our intent was #1.
