We aren't a group of ex-military types, we are all nerds (One lifetime [25+ years] IBM'er, one Cisco veteran, two guys from yet another software company [both in QA], one from healthcare, and the last in tech support). I think our campaign won't be as much "Oo-Rah!" and more "Can we hack a Virus system"?"
I will probably have questions after this afternoon's game, but right now i'm just trying not to have jitters: i haven't ran a RPG game in about 15 years (though i have played a fair amount in that time). I think i have a good starting scenario "out of frying pan into fire" with fire == "pick your poison: the crazy xenophobic/technophobic TL 2 culture OR the abandoned scout base that just shot down one of the life boats"
