A software engineer wants to convert a decommissioned missile base into
condos for the Apocalypse. The part of the article that's useful to
Traveller GM's is that there's an illustration of the layout of said
base after it's been transformed. Each section has been labelled and
colorized. There are also close ups of three levels. The article is very
high level, very little detail as to how it'll work.
So, with a little bit of work, one could use the illustration as the
layout for a base or small town on a vacuum world (the ground providing
shielding from the nasty parts of the EM spectrum) or hostile atmosphere
world. Perhaps a starship (you'd need to add an Engineering section).
No, it won't be a substitute for deck plans but it could prove useful.
