Hey guys, I found a new site (at least to me) called "Distant Places".
It has a ton of CG Art in it, mostly ships but there is a bar scene that cool.
I suggest you look up his CG (photo?) of the Hector Mk 2. Its a 300 ton container ship...a great design. And look up the Hector (an earlier design???) Its this ship that got me to thinking, In BARD there is Haven class mobile starport..a very bare bones starport. The ship is a 1800 D Ton ring design with 29 ton modules lining the ring and with a crew section in the center and two 50 ton cutters. This ship could carry a couple of Havens. There are also a number of other ships in this site that make it well worth a look.

The pod idea I had is because the Coalition seems to me to be cretically short of ships. the ships they do have seem to be mostly mission configerable, Beloadona, the clippers, the Victorixs and the MM scouts. And no mention is made of auxilerys except for Hornet a 200 ton rebuilt J-Hawk from the books Death of wisdom and Dream of Chaos. There are also a handful of ships in Bard that seem to be more one of a kind designs (Free Traders?) and some ships run by Transtar.
