But here's what Traveller really is: a Film Noir observation of Los
Angeles, i.e., the place where Film Noir played out. So all of those
worlds, that we pretend have stars and other planets, are simply locations
in Film Noir Los Angeles.
That's what "Traveller" as we played it, actually is. The stuff about
"realistic scientifically valid stellar systems" is a whole different
thing. To the extent that it is Traveller is really wholly up to the GM.
