To anticipate a question, yes, a T5 version might be interesting to do as well.
The setting is intended to be about 20 years removed from the events going on in the original TNE publications, thus 1221. It just makes sense to advance to the time a bit since then, but not the point that there would be a serious danger of 1248 materials being radically overwritten. If you want to consider this to be an alternative timeline based upon the original TNE (as the 1248 materials were) then that's fine.
