Re: Overlapping technologies but insufficient specifics

The original series was the superior one, IMHO, as it was pretty clear how the various technologies overlapped and helped to spawn the next.  Connections 2 & 3 seemed to follow more of a random path through the technology tree as you suggest, but were nevertheless entertaining and thought provoking.
