voice-overs or cameos or other welcome reunions.
While ST and Trav aren't particularly related, back in 1977 when Trav
first came out all of SF was one big unified thing, before Star Wars came
along and either ruined or cured that, depending upon your mood.
I assume the Vulcans had another salute for the dead, as the standard one
(and didn't it morph into "Peace and Long Life" in the later series or
movies?) comes off pretty dumb under the circumstances, as it makes you
want to do math, which is scarcely the point.
