I'm sorry to say that FF&S v2 (published for T4) still had the same battery tech mods for Gauss weapons as in the original FF&S. They did add the explanation that "they approximate a battery with a one-second discharge time". And they note that you may want to design your own batteries using the regular battery design sequence if you have needs other than a one-second discharge time.
