Yeah, the entire Solomani concept seems trite and unoriginal.
DGP did some good stuff, but not the Solomani. The member States are dated
caricatures of 70s-80s stereotypes outside of the Old Earth Union and Near
Bootes, Cthonia, and Turin Consolidation.
My own preferences centered on the latter while replacing Quesada with an
Ibero-Hispanic Confederation, though I did keep the names and general
identities for Wuan, Kostov while having their outlines be a bit different,
with most Canon as Imperial propaganda and/or poor intel.
