I look back on the stuff that happened in the post-COE era to me personally and realize that perhaps some of it was for the best.  Going back to school has certainly worked out for me.  The divorce was something I wanted, and I was happier for it.  I have no regrets about all the time I spent on Traveller, nor about the material I wrote for COE, save as I said, I wish that I had generated more adventures for it.

In terms of Traveller right now, I feel like one of those people in the New Era rummaging through the remains of a planetary civilization trying to figure out if the pieces parts can be put back together into something recognizable or at least coherent.  More to come.
