Overview:This is both the first wet vessel I've designed, and the smallest craft I've ever attempted.
The Hass Minisub was a design originally constructed for the Solomani military by a small Magyar Sector company to carry out intelligence and sabotage operations. A civilian version was added almost as an afterthought; yet that version was extremely popular among commercial and private users throughout Charted Space. Its small size, affordability and versatility recommended it for general maintenance, inspection and light construction/salvage duties.
The version below was manufactured by the Avalaran company, Murat Ferma, for use by private operators on the world of Nesturgi (Foreven 2128). It is constructed out of composite TL-10/12 components, a reflection of that worlds bifurcated technological levels. It has three robotic arms, two for structural and mechanical repair, and a large grapple to anchor it against currents. While the vessel can operate for up to 20 hours without refueling, the cramped work spaces, crew fatigue and limited life support margins usually keep it from going over 12 hours.
